This one can be a huge lifesaver and timesaver when drafting when you need to make a change to a sheets’ scale. Doing this will keep your scalebar always set correctly, regardless of if you change up the scale of your viewport. In the post, we will walk through exactly how to insert a dynamic scale bar that can be linked and update automatically based on your viewport scale in the AutoCAD Map 3D toolset. In today post and video, I get to share another great feature from the Map 3D Toolset that is now included with the AutoCAD Subscription. You can see the full list of my articles on the AutoCAD Blog here, like the last post How to Link a North Arrow to a Viewport or check out the videos on my channel here: /c/cadintentions. In case you are new to the site or needed a refresher, earlier this year I partnered with the AutoCAD Blog to produce some of my favourite CAD Tips as Tuesday Tip articles along with an accompanying Two Minute Tuesday Video that gets posted to my youtube channel. Its that time of the week again and that means I’ve got another Tuesday Tip x 2 Minute Tuesday post to share with you all.
